We got the photos back from him remarkably quickly and are overjoyed with the results.
We'd like to mention just how generous and reasonable the cost was to hire James. He simply charged a flat fee with no hidden extras for "additional hours" and what really touched us was that without us asking he stayed right until we left so that he could photos of our exit amongst sparklers!

After the wedding, people spoke to us about how friendly and professional you were. One person was telling us of how during the evening they were talking to you about your work and so on an you were chatting away to them really relaxed and then you spotted a photo opportunity, quickly nipped away to grab the shot then came back to the conversation. They really appreciated being able to talk to a photographer who was happy to sit and chat whilst also working.

I remember sitting at the head table and I think it was during the speeches I looked over towards the doors and you were stood there with your arms across your chest, looking up slightly and smiling, like you were taking in the words and for that moment you were both our guest and our photographer.

It was tricky to find a photo of you from the day as you were such a ninja. You were here and then suddenly there, silently moving through people without disturbing them so they didn't notice you were there.

One of our favourite moments from the day with you was when we went into the corn field and you took the brilliant golden hour shots. You were so proud of them (quite rightly so) you came bounding up to us to show us one and instantly blew us away. Thank you for getting down on the ground and muddy for those fab shots. That's true dedication!

We really enjoyed our individual session, chatting away and laughing about all sorts of things, climbing styles, doing off road and throwing the leaves and much more.

Having the engagement shoot with you prior to the day gave us such confidence that we felt so relaxed on the day creating a great dynamic between us.

We look forward to working with you again. Hopefully if any of our friend get married we can highly recommend you.

We want a say a HUGE thank you to you and Marie for giving us so many wonderful photos with which we can look back on our wedding day. We're really blown away by just how many photos we have here - and of course by the quality of them all. It's genuinely far more than we were hoping to get, and each one is brilliant. You've captured a wonderful range with the expected group poses, shots of our family and friends enjoying themselves, and the background details that we wouldn't want to forget. Also, it was a stroke of genius to work in the tractor for the posed shots of the two of us - we'll definitely be getting a big print done of one of those!

We were really struck by the friendly and professional way that you and Marie handled everything on the day. We felt like we were in safe hands as you wrangled the guests for the group shots, and were very impressed with how quickly you got these done, leaving more time for our guests and us to relax. You also did an excellent job of blending into the background to capture so many natural photos of people just enjoying themselves, unaware that they had a camera on them.

We love how you have arranged the set of photos in the gallery. It was a lot of fun to be able to see what had been going on at each household at different times during the preparations in the morning.

We couldn't have asked for a better set of photos, or a better pair of people to be there to take them!"
